今日は大好きだった祖父の誕生日。

有田に帰ってきて、いまこんなことやってるんだと靴下を渡すと、孫が、田舎で、靴下で、とほぼ意味不明といった顔で、それでも嬉しそうに足を通してくれたのを思い出します。もっとこういうのも欲しいとか文句も合わせて。

靴下なんてほんとただの下着の一部みたいなものですが、そこに気持ちまで乗っけてやれば立派な贈りものになる、 と思ってかれこれ10年くらい。

昨日もとある職場で働く人の還暦祝いに 赤い靴下を買っていってくれた方がいて、 やったーと心のなかで飛び跳ねました。

この感覚が好きで、遠まわりしながらも今日もこの仕事を続けています。

なんか昨日もらった有田の小冊子を読んでたら、 頑張ってる人ばかりでしみじみしました。いいものをありがとうございました。

ほんと有田はA町なんで、自分も早いとこ新しい物件決めて、この町の景色になれるよう11月もまずは目の前の1人ひとりに全集中っす🙌

Today is my beloved grandfather’s birthday.

When I returned to Arita and told him that I was doing this kind of work, he looked confused why you were doing that in the countryside.I remember him looking like he didn’t understand, but he seemed happy to take them.

The socks are just a part of underwear, but if you add the recipient’s feelings to them, they can become a wonderful gift. I’ve been believing it for the past 10 years.

Yesterday, someone bought red socks for a worker at their workplace to celebrate his 60th birthday, and it made me jump with joy.

I love this feeling, and that’s why I continue to do this work today.

When I was reading the Arita booklet I received yesterday, I was struck by how many people are awesome. Thank you very much.

Arita is really a nice town, so I would like to decide on a new property ASAP and we can be the scenery of this town. So first of all, we want to make the people in front of us smile.
